Shwe Inthein Stupa Complex
a total of 1054 slender spired Shan Zedis (stupas) are packed into this enclosure above Inthien. Most date from 17th and 18th centuries. the site is reached via a long zaungdan (covered stairway) that is an open market for silver, souvenirs, antiques, clothes, puppets, lacquer ware, mother of pearl and all manner of exotic wares including hats madeof buffalo teeth.
